Dan is a Christ follower. He is husband to Kate and they are blessed to have five children, Payton, Adison, Avery, James, and Karis. Dan and Kate are members of the faith family at First Baptist Church of Melbourne where they are currently serving in the youth ministry teaching 7th and 8th graders and are leaders of their life group.
Dan was born and raised in Brevard County, Florida. He played football for Palm Bay High School where he was a three-year letterman and defensive captain on the 2000 6A State Championship Team. Dan and his family were very active in FCA during his high school years. After graduating high school, Dan attended the University of North Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in education. He then went on to pursue his Master’s degree from Jones International University in Educational Leadership. In 2014 he completed his doctorate from the University of Central Florida, also in Educational Leadership.
Dan taught History and Law at Palm Bay High School upon completion of his Bachelor’s degree and was an FCA huddle leader. He was also the defensive coordinator on the varsity football team and was head track and field coach. He then went into administration and was an assistant principal for three years for Brevard County Public Schools. Dan felt the Lord calling him into full time ministry and he was obedient to that calling and has loved working full time as an FCA missionary.
